The Egyptian city of Hamna Tower is the cemetery of the pharaohs of all dynasties. According to legend, there are a lot of rare treasures left by the pharaohs here. A steady stream of people go to dig gold, but there are only a few survivors. As a result, Hamna Tower became a place of mystery and was named “City of the Dead”.
The librarian Evelyn (Rachel Weisz) got a map of Hamna Tower by chance. She was so excited that she decided to go there with her brother for archaeology. They found the former survivor O’Connor. (Brendan Fraser played by Brendan Fraser), and the three went together.
