Hugh Glass (Leonardo DiCaprio Leonardo DiCaprio) is a fur hunter who was severely injured by a fellow boat captain Andrew Henry (Domhnall Domhnall) after being beaten by a bear while hunting. Gleeson (Domhnall Gleeson) is rescued, and the captain hires two men, John Fitzgerald (Tom Hardy) and Jim Bridger (Will Poulter) to come Take care of him. John Fitzgerald had no intention of taking care of Glass at all, and only wanted to take Glass’s property as his own, so he brutally killed Glass’s son and persuaded Jim Bridger to abandon Glass in the wilderness wait to die. The two thought that Glass would die like this, but Glass traveled through the wild wilderness for several months with strong perseverance, and finally returned to a safe area and started a revenge plan.
