Movie Synopsis
When Jurassic Park was built on Nublar Island, John Hammond (Richard Attenborough Richard Attenborough) used the nearby Sona Island as a dinosaur manufacturing factory. After the fall of Jurassic Park, the dinosaurs on Sona survived for 4 years in complete isolation and without the necessary synthetic elements. Curious about this, Hammond found Dr. Malcolm (played by Jeff Goldblum) again and invited him to visit the island. The experience four years ago left Macomb with lingering fears. He categorically rejected Hammond’s proposal, but when he learned that his girlfriend Sarah (Julianne Moore) had gone to the island, he had to follow the expedition to set off.
On the island of Sona, another group of savage expeditions has arrived early, and they capture dinosaurs to sell to foreign countries. The desire for profit made these greedy people completely disregard the danger, and even took the idea of Tyrannosaurus. Sona Island immediately turned into a horrible massacre hell…

“The Lost World: Jurassic Park” is a 1997 science fiction adventure film directed by Steven Spielberg and starring Jeff Goldblum, Julianne Moore, and Pete Postlethwaite. It is the sequel to the 1993 film “Jurassic Park” and is based on the novel of the same name by Michael Crichton.

The film takes place four years after the events of the first film, with John Hammond revealing to Ian Malcolm that there is a second island, “Site B”, where the dinosaurs were originally created and where they have been living and breeding in secret. Malcolm agrees to join a team of scientists, including his girlfriend Sarah Harding, to document the dinosaurs on the island, but they soon discover that a group of hunters led by Roland Tembo have also come to capture and exploit the dinosaurs for profit.

The film features several memorable action sequences, including a terrifying scene in which a T-Rex rampages through San Diego and attacks a city street, as well as a thrilling climax in which the human characters are pursued by a pack of Velociraptors. The film also explores themes of greed, human intervention in nature, and the ethical treatment of animals.

Despite receiving mixed reviews from critics, “The Lost World: Jurassic Park” was a box office success, grossing over $618 million worldwide. It was followed by two more sequels, “Jurassic Park III” in 2001 and “Jurassic World” in 2015, as well as a fifth installment, “Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom” in 2018.
