Movie Synopsis
Middle school teacher Pat (Bradley Cooper), who is cheerful and optimistic by nature, came home and met his wife cheating on him and was sent to the hospital for psychiatric treatment by his parents due to trauma. After being discharged from the hospital, Pat returned to his parents’ house to live with them, and felt depressed under the over-care of his father (Robert De Niro) and mother (Jacki Weaver). At a party, Pat met Tiffany (Jennifer Lawrence), a young woman who just lost her husband and job. Tiffany, covered in thorns, confronts Pat everywhere, making Pat afraid to avoid it at first. But with the deepening of the contact between the two, Pat gradually discovered the attractiveness of Tiffany, and Tiffany also discovered the indelible optimism in Pat. Tiffany asks Pat to dance with her for a competition, and their relationship begins to improve in a positive direction.
