Movie Synopsis
Olive, 7 years old, wears glasses and has a small belly. She dreams of becoming famous overnight and firmly believes that she will be elected Miss America one day.
Dad, a lecturer who sells success courses, believes that “there are only two kinds of people in the world, winners and losers”, and sells his “Nine Steps to Success” everywhere; brother, an autistic man, admires Nietzsche, in order to be admitted to the flight academy Sworn dumb, did not speak to his family for nine months; uncle, who claimed to be the best Proust research scholar in the United States, gay, lover and colleague ran away, lost his job, attempted suicide, and had a chaotic life; grandpa (played by Alan Alkin) ), the old hooligan who was kicked out of the nursing home, swearing and taking drugs; Mom, the only normal person in this crazy family.
