Dave Lezesky (Aaron Johnson), like all ordinary boys, dreams of becoming a superhero one day, but he puts his own A dream brought into reality. Together, they battle a ruthless gangster named Frank D’Amico (played by Mark Strong), who seeks to eliminate all those who stand in his way.
The film was praised for its mix of humor, action, and darker themes, as well as its performances, particularly from Moretz as Hit-Girl. It was a moderate commercial success, grossing over $96 million worldwide, and spawned a sequel in 2013, “Kick-Ass 2.”
