Rocket Raccoon (Bradley Cooper) steals the energy battery of High Priest Ayesha (Elizabeth Debicki), including Star-Lord (Chris Pratt), Gamora (Zoe Saldana) and Drax (Dave Bautista) were attacked by the fleet sent by the latter. A mysterious figure rescued the members of the Guardians of the Galaxy in a spaceship, and it was none other than Star-Lord’s biological father, Igo (Kurt Russell), who was driving the spaceship.
Under Yi Ge’s leadership, Star-Lord, Gamora and Drax came to the planet made by Yi Ge, while the remaining members set about repairing the damaged spaceship. On the other side, Ayesha commissioned Yongdu (Michael Rooker Michael Rooker) to catch Xingjue to avenge herself, and Gamora gradually discovered the huge conspiracy hidden under Yigo’s kind face.
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 is a 2017 American superhero film based on the Marvel Comics superhero team Guardians of the Galaxy. The film follows the Guardians as they travel throughout the cosmos in order to help Peter Quill, also known as Star-Lord, discover the truth about his parentage. Along the way, they must fight against a powerful new villain named Ego, who has his own plans for the universe.
The film received generally positive reviews from critics and was a box office success, grossing over $863 million worldwide. It has since spawned a sequel, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, which is set to be released in 2023.
