“Fantastic Four” is a 2005 superhero film based on the Marvel Comics superhero team of the same name. The film was directed by Tim Story and starred Ioan Gruffudd, Jessica Alba, Chris Evans, Michael Chiklis, and Julian McMahon.
The film follows a group of astronauts who are exposed to cosmic radiation while on a mission, which gives them superhuman abilities. They must learn to control their powers and work together to stop their former friend and scientist, Victor von Doom, from destroying the world.
Despite mixed reviews from critics, “Fantastic Four” was a commercial success and led to a sequel, “Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer,” in 2007. The film has since been criticized for its lackluster story and character development, but remains a cult classic among some superhero fans.
