Movie Synopsis
Frances (played by Jennifer Gray) and her family went to Kellerman Mountain for vacation. Seventeen-year-old Frances has no interest in boys, dancing or family games.
By chance, she came to a hotel where the men and women danced together very lingeringly. Frances immediately felt that such a dance was unsightly. Dance coach Johnny (Patrick Swayze) came to her. He relieved Frances of her concerns and taught her the basic steps of dancing. During the learning process, Frances also found herself falling in love with Johnny. For fear of being fired, Johnny is afraid to develop a relationship with Frances.
At this time, Johnny’s partner was pregnant with the child of college student Robbie. Frances asked her doctor’s father to help check, but Frances’ father mistakenly thought that the child belonged to Johnny, and then prevented his daughter from interacting with Johnny. The two had to meet secretly. Because of being framed, Johnny lost his job.
