Movie Synopsis
Batman (Michael Keaton) is back! Since defeating the “Joker”, Gotham City has gained a moment of tranquility. However, another powerful opponent appeared! This time it is the “Penguin” with a bad temper.
Because “Penguin” was the second son, he was abandoned by his parents since he was a child, and became disabled. As a result, “Penguin” felt unhappy with the whole society. After growing up, the “Penguin” Penguin is determined to return to Gotham City, kill all the eldest sons in the city, and control the entire Gotham City. After forcing the evil businessman Max (Christopher Walken) to help, “Penguin” successfully became the mayor of Gotham. At the same time, Max’s secretary Celia (Michelle Pfeiffer) accidentally learns their secrets, and when they are persecuted by them, she accidentally gains superpowers and becomes a catwoman who is both good and evil.
Batman will face the double challenge of “Penguin” and Catwoman this time!

“Batman Returns” is a 1992 American superhero film directed by Tim Burton and starring Michael Keaton as Batman/Bruce Wayne, Danny DeVito as the Penguin/Oswald Cobblepot, and Michelle Pfeiffer as Catwoman/Selina Kyle. The movie is a sequel to Burton’s 1989 film “Batman” and features the Dark Knight battling both the Penguin and Catwoman, who have teamed up to wreak havoc on Gotham City.

In the film, the Penguin is a deformed and grotesque figure who was abandoned by his parents as a baby and raised by penguins in the sewers. Catwoman is a meek secretary who is transformed into a seductive and vengeful vigilante after a near-death experience. As Batman tries to stop their destructive plans, he must also confront his own feelings for Catwoman and the dark secrets of his own past.

“Batman Returns” received generally positive reviews from critics and was a commercial success, grossing over $266 million worldwide. The film was praised for its stylish and gothic atmosphere, as well as its performances by Keaton, DeVito, and Pfeiffer. It was also nominated for two Academy Awards, for Best Visual Effects and Best Makeup. Despite its darker tone and mature themes, “Batman Returns” has become a cult classic among fans of the Batman franchise and of Tim Burton’s unique visual style.
