Movie Synopsis
Henry Rose (Adam Sandler) is a typical playboy. What he is best at is using different identities to make beautiful women fall in love with him, and quickly get out of the relationship afterwards. As a veterinarian at the Hawaiian Aquarium, Henry has endless romantic feelings to infect this casual beauty. This time he fell in love with Lucy (Drew Barrymore) who was eating alone in a restaurant.
They chatted, built little houses out of bagels, and laughed. Henry was reluctant to part with the girl, and made an appointment to have dinner together again tomorrow morning. However, the next morning, when Henry warmly greeted Lucy, Lucy was as indifferent as a stranger. It turned out that the girl suffered from a strange short-term memory loss due to the car accident, and her memory always stayed on the day before the car accident.
Saint Henry encountered his own problems. He fell in love, but fell in love with a girl who kept losing his love…

50 First Dates is a 2004 American romantic comedy film directed by Peter Segal and starring Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore. The film follows the story of Henry Roth (Sandler), a veterinarian living in Hawaii, who falls in love with Lucy Whitmore (Barrymore), a woman who suffers from short-term memory loss and can’t remember him the next day.

Each day, Henry must find a way to make Lucy fall in love with him all over again, as she wakes up every morning thinking it’s the same day as the accident that caused her memory loss. With the help of his friends and family, Henry comes up with creative ways to remind Lucy of who he is and their relationship.

The film received mixed reviews from critics, with some praising Sandler and Barrymore’s chemistry, while others criticized the film’s predictable plot and use of crude humor. However, it was a commercial success, grossing over $196 million worldwide. The film’s popularity has since grown over the years, becoming a staple in the romantic comedy genre and a favorite among fans of Sandler and Barrymore.
